I know you do not want to hear this— but — the ETX 125 is NOT a very goiod choice for astrophotography. First the tripod (wedge) is difficult to accurately polar align; and the internal gearing has a ton of backlash. You will be stuck with images of about 20 seconds long or less before tracking errors ruin the picture.
Use it for visual only and you will be happy.
TelescopeMan does a show and tell on his ham radio shack.
The new (old) Collins KWM - 2 and 516 power supply are shown in this video. TelescopeMan is a member of the Texas Astronomical Society, and also a member of several local radio clubs. His call sign is W1XWX. You can visit his radio web page on the well known radio web site QRZ.com

Ham Shack - January 2013
TelescopeMan shows his upgraded ham radio shack. This is a follow-up to the first ham shack video made back in August of 2012.
The equipment has changed a little along with a new Heil microphone on a suspension boom and shock mount, which greatly improved the station’s audio signal sound quality.
TelescopeMan’s amateur call sign is W1XWX
